  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I was just wondering why installing a winter wheel/tire package seems to be considered outside of the servicing promised by Genesis? While I really did not expect them to install for free, there has certainly been no hint of a car for the day of pick up/drop off. I ordered the wheel/tires from Genesis, but the rest of the process is like any other dealer. A little disappointing. Wondering what everyone else has experienced?

That's up to the discretion of the dealer. Mine was going to pick the car up if I wanted to wait till November 27th. But I wanted it done early and was willing to drive there for it so they were able to squeeze me in next week. The winter wheel/tire package included installation on the car.

I guess it depends on what side of the border you are on. Seems common in CA from what I've read here, but never heard of a special package and storing them for the customer here in the US. I'd never consider it as routine service. Of course, like all the other services it can be built into the price.

I guess it must depend on the Genesis dealer. The one I've been dealing with offers free installation and tire storage with the purchase of winter tire/rim package.

X2. I use the same dealership and they are excellent. When I went in to buy my winter mats they washed my car while I had a cup of coffee.
