Update 6 final update: I actually didn’t start the car this morning. I just started it about 8pm day 4 so the car sat for a full 4 days. The car started fine although the crank might have been slightly slower than normal, but then again it could have been that way either way. Everything seems fine.I think you need a little longer period of monitoring to tell. The battery is going to drop for a little while after it is last charged, and also the voltage will vary with temperature. The lower the temperature, the lower the voltage.
This concludes this experiment. I’m glad to be back in my car now and everyone who is wondering about severe battery drain on an aftermarket remote starter can be assured that it’s not a problem unless it’s installed improperly.
