Should I risk map update over-the-air or do USB stick process?

My 20232 G70 Prestige is suddenly prompting me for auto download, after never doing this last year when I did two manual updates. Is the auto over-air update reliable? Must I leave car running once I approve Start?

Easier. Start it and go to bed. No need to keep the car running.

I also have a 23 G70 Prestige and I have had no request for the over the air update. Is there a setting that I have missed??

Thanks for fast answer. Over-the-air download was fast and simple today. Better than idling the engine for an hour while my USB stick loads.
