Showing off that pretty intercooler

Has anyone removed any part of there bumper or grill to show off the intercooler? I just got an IMR intercooler, and dam shes purty but you cant see it . I was thinking of just removing the bottom plastic grill this summer. Has anyone done this or done something similar? Thanks in advance!!

Last month I took an 1100 mile ride to see a friend. When I got there I found a piece of tire tread stuck in the bottom grill. Never happened before. I wonder what would happen to the pretty intercooler if there was no grill?
