"Shuffless" Since IOS 4.0.1 Upgrade

After upgrading my iPhone 3GS IOS 4.0.1 songs will no longer shuffle in my 09 Genesis.

Prior to the update, as long as I hit shuffle prior to plugging my iPhone into the Hyundai factory cable, the songs would shuffle fine. After the upgrade and hitting shuffle prior to plugging in, the songs now play in song name order.

Has anybody else experienced this behavior after upgrading to IOS 4.0.1?

Remembered to try it this morning:

IOS4 does indeed remove shuffle capability. The first song in shuffle started with an "H", plugged in the cable, and every song thereafter was in alphabetical order from the original song.

Sigh.
