  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I see something new this morning on the display. All Sirius stations have REC beside them in bold red. I assume this means, “recording” but I don’t understand what’s going on. Any ideas?

I don't use Sirius but it could mean "receiving?"

I guess it could. I have never noticed it until today.

It means recording. Leave it on for about 15 minutes then hit the back button and it should go back a few songs.

Ok, thanks. I had a Cadillac CTS a few years ago that had a hard drive to record Sirius or any over the air radio program. I didn't realize Genesis had this capability too.

It will record the first 10 XM stations on your presets. You can reorder them if there is a station that is not recording.
I wish it had alerts though, in my Infiniti I could set up alerts for Artists & Songs.
Also, on the stations that are recorded when you get a phone call the song playing should pause.
