  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2015 Hyundai Genesis that I bought around February of 2015. I let my satellite radio expire for about two months. I signed back up and now I notice that I no longer have access to Sirius Weather and Sirius Traffic info on the maps. My car indicates my subscription expired. I have never before paid for the Weather and Traffic features. I thought it was included with my satellite radio. Did any of you lose access to the Weather and Traffic once you let your satellite radio subscription expire?

It’s not expensive. But it’s not included in The radio.

It was free for some time but is added cost if you want to subscribe. $7 a month. Personally I never found much value to it. On a couple of long trips it did tell me there were construction delays but I could not do anything to avoid them. Last week it told me thunderstorms were in the area but I knew that and looked at the radar on my phone before I left the house. YMMV of course.

All depends on what your needs are - Houston is a big city with multiple freeways, so the Traffic is worth it to keep you out of a massive f@ck up. Weather is rather worthless - at least on the 2015-16, as the map doesn't zoom in far enough to give you a good local read on what's where...
