  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So, I finally received delivery of my 3.8 Genny and I am very impressed so far. However, I found something discerning. When turning the engine off, and my hands on the gear-shifter, I feel a slight rumble and shake. Now, it's not anything violent, but I would expect a high end car to turn off more nonchalantly. I don't remember my previous car (Optima 2011) feeling this way when turning it off.

Is there anything to be concerned about?

How do you turn the engine off and keep your hands on the gear-shifter?

when I push the stop engine button, my seat and steering wheel move so I can exit the car easier. nothing abnormal is felt. stop by your dealer and start/stop one of the cars on the lot for comparison.

I think the first time around I turned it off with my left hand. Thanks for the suggestion, I will certainly try that.
