Small scratches on my glove box?

I have a couple small scratches on my glove box. Has anyone had any success removing small scratches from this surface? If so what did you do. I am thinking about trying some rubbing compound.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this issue. Hopefully someone has a good fix.

I tried rubbing compound which helped a little with the scratches but also left that part of the glove box looking whitish. Also I did find this:

Got to be careful with this as if you want a different color from white you have to contact them.

They make a kit online that restores scratches on vinyl. It's a process of sanding it down and respraying it with a factory matched color vinyl paint. Try it out
