  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Since I put the smart key in my wallet both my bank card and credit card have stopped working (the chip) over the course of 6 months. Coincidence?

I have had mine with my cards since last August and no problems with any of them. You may sound strange to some because our US friends don't have chip cards. They are still old fashion swipe. ;)

No the united states banks have RFID chips in the bank cards, not that it is very secure for the customer.

RFID reader and one guy can walk through a crowd and pick up many bank numbers....

I would rather burn out the rfid chips, spend more money to protect myself seems silly as for the convenience of waving the card rather then swiping it seems a bit of a stretch

I use Apple pay, if a merchandise does not support it., it is to my advantage. Leave them at house andn no worry of being messed up by the key card.
