  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone know if there are updates to the software of the LKA and or the ACC? I have a loaner (newer) and the LKA and ACC seem to be more refined. I can't imagine the hardware being that much different.

Neither of my cars (15 & 18) were ever updated. Both my cars perform about the same. Others here have mention that the LKA is more aggressive than what I experience. Unless one of us drives both cars, it is merely relying on single descriptions and not reliable.

There are three setting available of it. Did you check to see if it is the same as your car? I see no difference between standard and active.

As for the ACC, there are settings for that also. I find what works best for me is 2 bars for distance. There is a slow/normal/fast setting. I use fast.

Yeah I need to go look into my settings for the reaction for the ACC. The LKA on the loaner seems to do a better job but maybe its all in my mind.

Ed, where do you access the slow/normal/fast ACC setting? I haven't seen this setting. Thx in advance.

On my 2018 is is in the setup you get into on the steering wheel. I don't recall if it was the same on the 2015.

The sensitivity of vehicle speed
when following the front vehicle to
maintain the set distance can be
adjusted. Go to the 'User Settings →
Driving Assist → SCC (Smart Cruise
Control Response) → Slow/Normal/
Fast' on the LCD display. You may
select one of the three stages you
prefer

• Slow:
Vehicle speed following the front
vehicle to maintain the set distance
is slower than normal speed.
• Normal:
Vehicle speed following the front
vehicle to maintain the set distance
is normal
• Fast:
Vehicle speed following the front
vehicle to maintain the set distance
is faster than normal speed.
✽ NOTICE
The last selected smart cruise control
speed is remained in the system.

Hmm... the 2016 doesn’t have this setting. 😢
