Solution for my cracking pano roof

My pano roof was making cracking noise to the point where I decided to fix it (didn’t know how but I was going to find a way). First I checked all screws and they were tight. Then I noticed the plastic piece that holds the foldable thingy (I don’t know what it is called). It would stop to make cracking noise when I pressed and hold it.

After removing(put duct tape on the metal pieces so the plastic rail sits tighter and has no wiggle room)

Update.
Turns out the the rattle was reduced after putting piece of tape but I didn't put enough of it. I removed the piece completely and left it like shown on second picture. The rattle is completely gone. You can't imagine how much I enjoyed my commute to work with open pano shade and no cracking noises on hwy or going over the bumps.

Another update. Two days later, I have noticed that the rattle is back again... Looks like I got tricked... Sorry for getting some of your's hopes up. This thread can be deleted.

Don't have to be deleted, I think eventually all the pano roofs will squeak. I can push on the corner of my and it makes a creaking noise. I used to lube it with some spark plug boot grease and it lasts a few month.
