  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

HYUNDAI GENESIS 2013-2016 VIDEO INTERFACE with BUILT-IN HD SMARTPHONE MIRRORING via HDMI
This interface lets you add Smartphone Mirroring/Projection, DVD, Back-Up Rear View Camera, Front View Camera, Left and Right Lane Watch Cameras or any other video source to your factory screen. It is a little pricey but if worked as advertise, I think its worth it, gonna contact the company later today for more info on installation. As a newbie Im not sure if website links are allowed, will provide website info.

Sorry, I was informed by sales, this only support touch screen at this moment, not for us Ultimate owners, bummer.

I have 2015 genesis 3.6. With my seat adjusted optimally for me I am unable to see the white parking space lines. Consequently, I cannot drive into such spaces without a couple of tries. Embarrassing and irritating. So am , looking for front view camera that will show proximity to the cement stop and the lines. I believe there is such a camera in the sensor package in grill. The camera for lane keeping assist is a prime source for the video I need. Obviously, I would like to see the video on the in dash screen, but an aftermarket screen on the dash would be acceptable. Anybody out there with some creative ideas?

The camera is by the rear view mirror, not the grill. I agree that it is hard to see the white lines when parking but once used to the width of the car, it is easy to park.

The forward parking assist beeper should sound when you approach a curb or cement stop. It is turned on with a button on the console. The closer you get the faster it beeps.

Thanks for the feedback on the front view parking camera. Due to operator error the proximity system has been intermittent. We have located the on-off switch. I am surprised to lear the lane keeping camera is by the rearview mirror. As sensitive as it is it seems a closer position to the road would be more advantageous. And thank you for the link to the promising HYUNDAI GENESIS 2013-2016 VIDEO INTERFACE! This sounds very interesting. My ability to park my wife car is approaching the need for a $300 solution. By the way...what is an ultimate owner?
Thank you all.

The LKA camera does an excellent job from it location. It looks down at a steeper angle and gets a better view of the lane lines ahead. Even in some snow it finds the lines. It also stays cleaner than something mounted on the grill or bumper so it has a clear view.

What is an Ultimate owner? An owner of a Genesis with the Ultimate package. You get all the goodies.
