  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Sonata catching up

To bad it is wrong wheel drive.

While not a fan of FWD, in 2021 when my Genesis lease is up, this might prove to be my next daily driver.

The new Optima may be available by then and it will have AWD and around 278 HP w/ the new 2.5T.

Hyundai is contemplating whether to add AWD for the Sonata.

Agree ,man that c8 vette though that might be my next toy.
I see the exclusivity of vette ownership going the way of the mustang (they're everywhere).

Top comes off so all thats needed is someone operating a cherry-picker to lower you into the driver seat. Problem solved!
of course, getting OUT presents a whole 'nuther challenge...

getting out is easy if the top is off, you just stand up in the car, even with my disability the Corvette is a very comfortable vehicle to enter and exit with the top off,

now with the top on, that is a whole different story, but mine would never have the top on unless it is parked. and it won't be driven in the rain for that reason, hence the need for a daily driver like the sonata.

meh. so are Ferrari's and Lambos in L.A.

for me it isn't the exclusivity it is a childhood dream.. I loved the Aero-Vette mid engine concept as a kid, and then I was luckily enough to get to ride in the 1985 mid-engine concept on a test track.

the C8 is a dream I never thought would happen.
