Spastic Air Conditioner

Now that the heat is on it's way the AC has now kicked it and my AC is spastic. By that I mean it fluctuates, pretty wildly, between slow and fast fan speeds. Anyone else see this? I guess I need to add it to the list for my first service appointment.

Mine always takes a min or 2 before cold air even attempts to be blown- but until then- hair-dryer hot is pumped into the cabin.
