I live in the UK and this is my first post, and maybe my last!!
I currently own a Maserati Ghibli Diesel bought new in 2015, (this engine option used to be the most popular choice here in Europe), but thanks to the environmental’nutters’ who i think will only be happy when they ban all cars EV or otherwise; it will become increasingly difficult to own an ICE car with ever increasing taxation. So it maybe the case I will be forced to change, and one potential option, which I have been waiting a long while to see, and is now due on sale here in the Spring is the G80 Electrified.
Having previously been an owner of various Jaguars for some twenty years I did take a look at an I Pace, only to discover that Jaguar whilst charging the same price for the car, have due to the chip shortages removed items of specification. Not wanting to pay the same for a car with less features I discounted that car from from my possible future choice.
I have now seen a video from a UK based inoniq5 contributor on YouTube, who mentions that Hyundai for the same reasons are reducing the drive assistance features on those cars.
Is anyone aware of Genesis doing the same for their range of cars. I would’ve hoped as being the premium brand of the company, that this would not be the case.
As I say I would be grateful if anyone has any knowledge to pass on regarding this situation with Genesis.
Regards
Keith
