  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello,

New to the forum. Saw the GV70 on a YouTube top list and was hooked. Been doing a lot of research on all the trims. Ideally, I would get the 2.5T with the prestige sport trim. Unfortunately, this combination is hard to come by. I did find it on a Miami deanship online but when I called they didn't have any GV70 in stock at all. I guess they don't update their online inventory because it showed they had over 21 on hand. I was able to find a few 2.5T with the advance trim. I'm debating if it would be worth special ordering a GV70 or picking something from the lot (with a lower trim package). Interest are going up so that's something in my mind as well. Who know what the interest would be when I take delivery of the vehicle (who knows when). I was so exacting to find the GV70 I wanted just to be crushed by the news. Decisions Decisions.

I oh so know that feeling. After weeks of research I fell in love with the GV70. I will say the Sport Prestige in the 2.5T is like looking for a unicorn the only reason I was able to get mine was the original deal for the car fell through as the person on the West Coast decided they wanted the 3.5T instead and walked away from the 2.5T and the salesman I dealt with days before remembered me and called me to ask if I was still interested.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I am finding that many of the dealerships are listing on their site the ones that are on order, or have a deposit.

The one that I did my test drive last week was not sold because the financing fell through on someone who had a deposit on it. It may be beneficial as the previous poster said to get a good relationship with the sales person, and find the ones the unexpectedly become available.

I purchased a Silver GV70 2.5 T Select last Dec, and sold it for a Black GV70 2.5T Advanced last week. Comparing the 2 vehicles, I don't see much difference between the seat material and comfort. As far as Advanced features, I like the front camera, front collision warning, 360 overhead camera, and rear collision avoidance. Haven't tried the remote parking assist yet. Inside mood lighting is nice, but an excess. One thing unique is I get 2 MPG better milage with the Advanced. Also the Hitch was an option added by Genesis at port, which I tried to eliminate, but couldn't. Picked up the Advanced last week and started an 1800 mile trip the next day. No initial defects and great quality build.
Overall value for my money and needs, about $2000 above the Select price is what I would justify. Either model is a winner. Plus the resale value is outstanding.

Are front camera, 360 overhead camera, remote parking assist available with the Advanced AWD variant? I thought they cane with Advanced Plus variant

The 2.5 Sports Prestige is definitely a unicorn, and on top of that I want one in Alta or Uyuni white with Red or Ultramarine interior.

Only can find a few online and either its already sold or 10K over MSRP so I just gotta be patient until the right deal pops up ...even if I have to have it transported to me.
