Hello all,
I have a 19 month old 2016 Genesis 3.8 RWD (Signature trim line). I have noticed that my air conditioning seems to be sensitive to the speed of the car.
1. It takes about 30 to 60 seconds for the system to start blowing cold air after startup and I often get warmer air until I speed up.
2. I have also observed warming of the air when I have to slow down (as in a traffic jam). When I say warming, I don't mean hot air .. I do mean "not so cold" air.
This behavior is repeatable. For instance, it normally takes me about 6 minutes to get from my house to the entrance to the freeway. During this period, the HVAC system is blowing air (typically about 2/3 max) until I get to the freeway. When I accelerate to freeway speeds, the air gets much colder.
Is this a bug in the system or is there some design flaw?
