If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi all,
I have a 2010 4.6 with 13K miles and I keep hearing a squeak from the front driver's side suspension when I go over bumps at low speed. "Speed humps" are a great way to trigger it. Anybody else seen/solved this problem?

Took it to the dealer yesterday and they said they lubricated the sway bar bushings and it got better. Problem is, it's still there and doesn't seem to have gotten better. Wondering if anyone has been successful getting to the bottom of this problem?

Thanks in advance!

I've had an annoying squeak/creak from my rear suspension for quite a long time. After installing new coilovers and rear swaybar, the noise was still there. I assume it is related to some bushing somewhere. I had one of my rear shock mounts replaced and the guy who installed it said that there was a strange material inside the mount where the shock bolts up. I wonder if this could be it. For me, the sound appears mainly on cold days and not when the weather is hot.

I also took it to the dealer but after I had already changed the suspension so naturally they attributed it to that.

Had the exact same thing recently with an '09 V6 with 25k. Front driver's side. Dealer lubricated everything they could think of. Still there. Had them replace the strut assembly. Gone. May have been contributing to uneven tire wear, so don't let it go too long. Good luck.

Just wanted to say thanks for the tip -- this fixed it. I had to bring it in twice and show it to them 3 times, but they finally agreed to replace the strut assembly on the front left side and now the noise is gone! I don't know why Hyundai dealers push back so much on replacing parts on warranty. Anyway for future people who have this problem, the part number is 546113M901 (LH Front Upper Arm & Strut).

My squeak going over speed bumps was coming from the left rear and dealer has determined that it is the shock rubbing against to stop. Shock will be replaced next week.

I had the same creak/wobble sound over speed bumps on my 09 V6 and dealer replaced the front bushings at around 45k miles. It helped, but not 100%. Now at 54k miles apparently the left rear axle seal is leaking (not sure if related).
