Squealing fuel injectors?

Has anyone experienced a squeal just after start-up for 10 seconds or so that sounds remarkably like a belt? Dealership service department told me it was perfectly normal fuel injector noise. I'm dubious.

Ha. That's a new one to me. Tapping on clicking is what I've seen with injectors.

I agree with Philth. I have never heard a FI "squeal". Usually they just click (can sound like too much clearance with manual tappets).

How did they narrow the sound to injectors?

It would be hard to convince me of that being injectors. No such noise from my 4.6l.

I would get a second opinion... Sounds like belt or idler pulley. Just my 2cents

I’m having the same issue, i hear it coming directly from 1 of my injectors. But at the same time I did just change my alternator so I’m not sure. I’m 100% it’s coming from the injector, so confused.
