  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone have any experience with starting issues on a 2017 G80. I confirmed battery and alternator are good.
Also, would this be covered under warranty? Currently at 63k miles.

If you're the original owner, there's a 10 year 100k mile drive train warranty, but not sure the starting system is included in that. Could still be the battery, which is not covered.

Does it not turn over?

I was concerned about a bad battery and ready to replace it since it was still under warranty. Turns out...I had a loose connection on one post. Glad that is all it was.

Now having continuous issue starting vehicle again. Very sporadic. Each time it doesn't start, I need to go to the battery in the trunk and wiggle the connections at the terminal. Are there any known wiring issues?

I'd start with the connections in the trunk. Can I assume you have to loosen it on the terminal to wiggle?

Seems like you found the location of the proble, now just have to define it a bit. Someone once mentioned the box on the terminal too.
