Stereo Volume Increments

Is there a way to reprogram/change the stereo volume increments on a 2019 Genesis Prestige? Usually volume level 1 is too quiet for background music and 2 is too loud. I guess I'm looking to decrease the sensitivity of the volume control to gain more control so that background music ends up at around level 3-10 and loud music somewhere in the 20s-30s.

If by some chance someone opens up the software and figures this out (unlikely unless Genesis features it as an update), I'd also be curious to see if we can hide the volume level display (or move it to the top of the screen). I don't ever look at it and it blocks some content on android auto when I change the volume.
