  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I don't think the Sterling Blue Metallic color chip in the brochure does that finish justice. Based on the chip, I wouldn't have gotten that color sight unseen.

But, it is a great color (IMHO) for the sedan. Doesn't show dirt much either.

I love that Sterling Blue. I've been looking for a used 09 4.6, for my wife, but have not found one yet. (She is getting to love my Champagne 09 4.6).

Its the best color imo (I did buy one afterall) - I waited until I could get one and I don't regret it. I suggest you hold out for the color you want.

Stunning color indeed.

I love my black, but it's a bear to maintain. If it rains, it needs a wash. If not, I still spend time every day with duster/spray detailer - in the sun, every speck of dust, fingerprint, whatever, sticks out like a sore thumb.

I have the black on black and i agree it's a beeaach to maintain but next to the black, the blue is my favorite color. I love the Mercedes Quartz blue on the E 350 but this blue is just as nice. I was going to get the blue but it wasn't available at the time. Next time i will wait for it!!!!

I've had two Black car in my lifetime.

1. 1973 Pontiac Grand Am. You older guys may remember them. Beautiful car, with the "elastic nose" that would bounce back if you hit something solid. Louvers on the rear quarter windows. Beautiful car, but a beech to keep clean.

2. 2003 Mercury Marauder. Nice car. Powerfull car. Fast car, but not as fast as the Genesis 4.6. Shows every speck of dust and every light scratch. Just could not keep it clean.

Now I fully understand why my father always wanted to buy a gray or silver car. They just don't show the dirt.

Yeah, the only(and I wish to keep it that way) black car I had was my '08 Vette.
BEAUTIFUL when clean, but like y'all said, a biiaaaatch to keep clean.
4 hours of washing/waxing later a short 15min drive, backend's all dusty. Ugh.
Couldn't do it no more.
Silver for me.

Dan
