  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I ordered some ZxE H11B from Amazon because it claimed to be compatible with my 2015 Genesis Coupe...After housing was removed and stock high beams were removed, i noticed that the stock was a two prong plug in, while the H11Bs were a single prong. I messed up. I decided to spend a little extra and go into Oreighlys so i could actually speak with someone and make sure the part I'm ordering is correct, because I can see myself messing something up, either paint or fenders if I regularly pull these light housings out just to see if a part fits. I'm being told part number 9005 is correct and compatible with my coupe, but on this model number comes a 90 degree elbow sleeve at the base of the light, and if i remember correctly I didn't have to unplug an elbow on my first failed attempt...it was simply a bulb connected to a two prong insert. Has anybody experienced this? I would just like to be sure before I take the housing out again if this will in fact fit.

My guess is I would have to go one step further and unplug the existing elbow that I simply do not remember seeing and replace it with the new one?

I hope this made sense...any thoughts?
