  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi guys,
somenone suffered from a store WHEELZ 2 GO which located 7091 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5S 1Z8, he took my brand new Genesis summer rims and tires and dont want to give back, where should i complaint?

Re: stolet rims and tires

it's hard to understand what you are saying.

Someone "stolet" your wheels? Stole?

If they stole your rims (with tires), i'd call the cops.

Google is showing the location as permanently closed. I see that you have posted on their Facebook page and Google+. Cops maybe able to help if they outright stole your wheels but if the business just went under and they had your your summer wheels in storage, cops would consider it a civil matter and your only option is to sue in small claims court.

if the business has in fact gone under, then you are another unsecured creditor and looking at the total amount more than likely at the bottom of the list. this situation sucks but I'm afraid you might be out of luck.

best of luck with getting your property back.

Re: stolet rims and tires

Sad story. Looks like you may be screwt. The business may have been padlocked by the building owner who is looking for his back rent. Or, maybe Ontario is looking for back taxes.

sorry guys i made a mistake, stolen, not stolet

Re: stolet rims and tires

i went there, the original owner said that his tenant ( wheelz2 go) couldn't pay rent and they kicked him, i checked the storage there i couldn't find my rims, i found just old tires and rims, for sure this smart guy took all brand new rims with him and sold it. can i still sue him for small claims court? i have all his numbers, and he is not answering

Re: stolet rims and tires

You would be more successful offering to buy them from him. Threaten to sue if he doesn't give you your property.

Re: stolet rims and tires

thank you PMCErnie :) but the reason i cant even find him, he is hiding from me , he never call me back, i think is good idea to sue him,

I think you have 2 options. 1- Let it go and chalk it up as a learning experience, especially if you are dealing with less than a $1000. As you said, he couldn’t even pay his rent and more than likely his suppliers.
2- If you decide to sue, I think it costs about $100 to file in Toronto court. If he doesn't show up for court or fails to files a defense (I think within 10 days), then you will get an automatic judgment. If he still fails to pay, you can sell the judgment to a collection agency in hope of getting something back and make his life miserable in the process. Just keep in mind; you’ll need to be able to locate him to have him served with the papers (phone number is of no use). Also, winning a case or calling the cops does not necessarily mean you get your money or wheels back.
If you decide to take him to court read here.

good luck.

Don't let it go. "Letting it go" is what he hopes you'll do, and it can perpetuate further misdeeds on his part. I am the GM of a business/store of a nationwide chain (over 2100). Part of my job is to decide who to file against when we're not paid or cheated. I often file on customers with no significant book value, just out of principle. Not just the big accounts! I strongly believe in protecting company assets, and you should strongly believe in protecting your own! And yes, even if you end up losing the initial filing cost. Don't let crooks be crooks....without sweating them out, at least! :-)
