  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a '13 R Spec and just finished washing it. When I started the car there was a picture of a car with a green beam in front of it ?
It goes away while driving but returns when stopped. Definitely not a park assist indicator.
I checked the manual and don't see anything that looks like this indicator.
Could it be something with the "smart cruise control "?

Sounds like Forward looking sensor problem? It has green beam indicator if within a few feet of an object then turns yellow as u get nearer.

If that were the case ,should it not disappear if I turn the "park assist" off ?
Because I did and it stayed on.

Yes, should not be on when PA blue light is off. If it happened right after your wash, I suspect it may be related to it, maybe some water intrusion into that front sensor. As another check, with PA on, slowly pull up to a wall and see if the same pic comes on green then turns yellow when you are within 3', then put in neutral, should go off. Try with PA off and green off. Do same test as with PA on. If same green comes on, but regardless whether yellow comes on or not, possible verification of an electrical fault in that sensor or related wiring. Lastly, with green on and PA off, do same wall test to see if it turns yellow w/in 3'. If it does turn yellow, this would seem to reconfirm an electrical switch fault in that system. My thoughts, only.

I had a failure driving at night, all the lights suddenly turned off except for brake lights. I very unsafe condition if you are on a highway at night with no lights. The dealer said it was the 95410-3M062 module, the repair shop cleaned the connections and now everything works. The part is about $500 if it has to be replaced. This failure also put up to warning on the instrument panel "Auto Hold" and "EPB". I was able to drive the car to the dealer in day light, no turn signal, but brake lights worked. The engine ran like normal. I have 2011 genesis 4.6 sedan.

definitely a sensor problem. Has been intermittent for the last couple of days.
I just find it odd that the indicator is green but in a failed state ?

A sensor problems . I have the same issue. even when I turn off the parking assist button it will still show up , I have to replace the sensor .
