  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So I was driving and the screen and music turned off suddenly, then I turned off car and it wouldn’t start, I had to put key fob in the key slot to start it. So now my key fob won’t unlock the car, the car is like dead until fob is put in, seats won’t move , lights inside won’t work, gas cap, trunk and so on. Until the fob is inserted then it all works, except for the screen and music while I drive those are dead still. One day I tried checking the battery and boom everything worked. Then hours later back to how it’s been. Anybody know if the battery’s get bad and these cars freak out or what do you all think? Appreciate the help.

Are there fuses on the positive battery terminal on your 2011?

I don't think that you will find any blown, but I think that there is probably a tiny crack in one of them.
You can find it with a voltmeter when the car is not operating correctly.
