  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Are there alternate ways to enter an address in the NAV? The first thing that comes up is to enter the street name (assuming you're in the right state). Then it gives me every street with that name in the entire state. So if it is a common name, say Main, then you get dozens of options (E. Main, S. Main, Main Street, Main Ave., Main, etc.) and you can only guess. If you guess wrong, then your city won't come up and you have to start all over. Very frustrating and makes the NAV address search almost useless in a big state like Texas.

With the tech system, I always use the voice input as you can start with city first. I also find it faster (most of the time) except when it can't understand your voice!

I have the same problem. When my verbal system is working it's a much better option.
