  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello to everyone,

I have a G80 2015 with the H on the trunk

I plan to replace it with a genesis Badge, do the studs on the genesis emblem fit inside the hole left by the H or do I have to plan to remove the studs and only rely on the adhesive ?

Thank you,
Hugh

They don't line up. You'll have to cut them off.

There are diy posts to do this

The rear Genesis badge I had to buy to replace the buggered up one on the car when I purchased it had no studs on it. The adhesive is adequate.

OK I will do thank you like this I will not have any psychological shock :ROFLMAO:
I would also add some silicon or other water proofing material to the under side of the trunk lid to seal the holes behind the emblem to prevent leaks. Just as a precaution, not a must do.
