  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I installed a aftermarket 12" Pioneer sub and an 1600 watt Pioneer amp in my 2012 Genesis Coupe R-Spec 2.0T. My Genny didn't come with the factory amplifier or subwoofer. It was extremely easy! I used a Memphis 8 gauge wiring kit and that was the hardest part...running wires and that was easy as well. If you want some pictures or have any questions just ask.

So do you think my 2010 Genesis coupe 3.8L track has Pre-amp out connections on the back already?

Any photos of the back of the stock head unit would be wicked AWESOME!!!! I have my old Audiobahn amp and 12" Pioneer Champion Series dual voice coil sub and want to install them desperately. I have done countless car audio setups and have this all setup to hit at 2 ohms 1100 watts RMS, 2200 watts Peak. I just want to keep the stock unit and hope it will be simple.

Only other issue is my box is too tall to fit into the trunk..may have to get a new box but if I can squeeze a single 1/16 of an inch I will be able to fit it in....
