Nothing new here just sharing info on the continued G70 sunroof/headliner issue (Creaking Noise) that dealers cannot seem to fix. In Dallas I have tried two times going on my third to have my G70 3.3t elite repaired and it still is making the same noise. Frustrating to say the least.
Theres is also the second and important issue when considering buying a Genesis, the (Genesis/Hyundai relationship). The experience of just getting an appointment to have the car repaired and the environment that is involved with the dealerships. I have called so many times to be transferred around and been left on hold or disconnected by my dealer that it’s no longer a brand that I have trust in or would buy again. Genesis has to workout the dealer customer service atmosphere. It’s not a personnel issue it’s just a very poor business model having Hyundai dealers servicing and selling the Genesis brand. If I could leave my car at the dealer and be out of my lease I would. That’s just my feelings after a year or so into my Genesis G70. Happy Motoring
