Sunroof rattle.

21 G80. Sunroof rattle. Dealer dropped headliner and tighten. Now it creaks worse than the rattle. Been in body shop for 3 weeks. Tell me it noise is under the glass panel in front of the sunroof.(Stationary panel)
Only way to fix is to break the glass make the needed repairs and replace with new glass panel. Glass panel in “order”. Probably from S Korea.

Hey I was having a knocking sound coming from the same area. It was actually the trim around the windshield. It was so bad that it was taking some paint off.

Finally fixed a rattle!!

I initially thought it was coming from inside the door card or the windshield but it ended up being the trim along the windshield as you can see from the pics it was actually taking some paint off. Thank god too bc it has gotten so loud and I have a 3hr trip home.
