Sunroof Repair

The Equus is at the dealer for sunroof repair. They say the guide rails need to be replaced. Symptoms: clicking sound when trying to close the sunroof and inability to close sunroof. Service Manager stated this was the second one he has in the shop for the same issue. Hopefully, to get my car back on Monday. Has anyone else experience this issue.

I am driving a '17 G80. Nice car but it is no Equus.

My sunroof had the same problem....clicking noise is due to a bent track....When their bent they can't be fixed....just replaced...Hyundai wants $2,100 for the part and that doesn't include labor. My friend is a mechanic, so he moved the bellows aside (the acordian thing) and stuck something in there to force the pin to slide all the way down the track to close the sunroof completely. Hence, I will never open it again....saving $2,100....they are more trouble than they are worth....I only have 21,000 miles and it broke?....ridiculous....I even took the fuse out of the box that controls it so no one can open it....
