I've seen several people getting surprise gifts in the mail after purchase, stuff like branded power banks and the like. Is this still a thing they do? If so, how long does it usually take after purchase?

it completely depends on when the dealership turns in the paperwork, some here haven't received anything until they barked up the dealerships tree about it.

I got my echo dot 3 weeks after purchase. others say 3-4 months.

That's pretty cool of them to do. I come from a long line of Ford employees and owners and all I get from them is emails reminding me to bring in my 2013 Fusion for service - the same car I had on lease and turned in three years ago.

Four weeks after purchase, today I received a Google Home Mini Smart Speaker. They're trying to drag this Olde Pharte, kicking and screaming, into the 21st Century.
I still haven't mastered my iPhone 6 S Plus Premium DeLuxe. Or deciphered Genesis Connected Services With Concierge. Or Sony Discman.
