  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey Everyone,
I have a 2015 Equus Signature with about 17k miles and have noticed that after I park and lock the car, the front suspension seems to drop about an inch or so. It used to happen about every fifth time I drove the car; now it happens more often than not. I asked the dealer to check it at my last service and, surprise, they said everything was good. My warranty expires in January 2020, so I want to get it right before then. Any suggestions on how to proceed would be much appreciated.
Cheers!

My 2011 Ultimate does the same thing. Not every time. I'm completely speculating but I think it has to do with the level at which its parked and the load weight on the suspension.

It's not something I am going to worry about until I start to see actual problems, like the suspension dropping lower than it should.

FWIW even when you put the suspension setting on to raise it up and then park it, it can lower that same amount it normally does. However, like you mentioned, it doesn't happen every time.

Thanks! I was wondering if it had something to do with balancing things out while we're in the car. Fingers crossed!

I have a 2014 with the rear doing the same thing at 80,000 miles. They gave me a loaner several times and could never get it to do it for them. The computer wouldn't throw a code when I could take it. I had a nightmare with a Lincoln and swore I would never do it again. I love the car so I bought an aftermarket suspension from Strutmaster and had it installed by a local shop. Fresh front end alignment and I love it. Ride just as good and well worth the $1400 total not to have to worry about it agian.

My 2013 Equus's front air suspension just gave out this morning, took it to dealer and they want $1800 each side plus $600 for installation. This is CRAZY! Did some research and also came across Strutmaster, spoke with them earlier, they were very confident and seemed experienced and convincing. However, after doing some review research, I came across some horrible ones, I know there will always be a few of those that ruin what could be a reputable product, but now I'm reluctant to drop $1k and have the same experience as those I've read. Sounds like you have no issues? Also, they said they are developing the module for it to keep the sensor light off. Have you seen your's turn on? Should I buy and install these? I've seen some photos they look quite lifted. But they said it should not and rides the same and no different than the OEM air suspension...Not sure if I should get them. Car still at dealer waiting for my decision...
