  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm curious whether others can also hear the front suspension working. By that I mean when going very slow with little engine or wind noise to drown it out I can hear the suspension working over even the smallest of bumps/road imperfections. Not a clank, grind, nothing like that. Just very subtle thud when the suspension needs to work. Can't even pick it up on a video. I've had several cars and never heard this (or maybe they were just insulated better). I've heard electronic dampers are more prone to this. Just want to know whether this is normal. 23 sp.

Yeah, that's common. You’re not alone. Many cars, especially newer ones with sportier suspension or electronic dampers, transmit more of those subtle thuds and bushings working into the cabin. It’s usually just the normal sound of the dampers moving and bushings flexing over tiny imperfections. If it’s just a soft thud and not a clunk, it’s likely just how the car is tuned less sound insulation to feel more connected to the road. My last car did the same thing.

Thanks. Did you notice the g70 do it as well?

I had an issue with suspension sound, more of a clunk. took it to dealer last Friday. They told me today it's a problem with front struts. Parts alone are supposed to be around $8500! My '23 G70 3.3 Sport Prestige CPO has 27,000 miles on it. Good news is this is covered by the warranty. If you've got any noise from suspension and still under warranty, have the dealer check it out!
