  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

As new , my 5.0 produced a light coating of soot on my white rear bumper. No big deal, jugs wiped it off.

After about 4,000 miles, it has just stopped doing this and runs clean.

I assume the engine break had something to do with this, but I expected this to go on longer than it did.

Interested to hear if this is repeated with others.

This is the 2015 section, I think you posted in the wrong area?

Yeah, this is a segregated forum now, and they don't allow any 2009-2014 low-life's in the 2015 section. Furthermore, make sure you sit in the back of the bus or plane.

My remark had nothing to do with segregation. In fact the 2015 V8 has the actual exhaust several inches away from the chrome quad tail pipes and the blacken tip issue will not be the same at all if any. You cannot compare apples to oranges. Hmmm, maybe it is segregation. :D
