  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone know if it's possible to program the nav screen to show the temp and fan display without having to push buttons? It seems kinda funny the temp isn't displayed all the time like the compass, which i could do without considering i have nav.

Thanks

I agree the temperature and fan display are of more value than the compass, but unfortunately there is no way to have it featured without pressing the temperature button.......

Isnt the temp always displayed in the lower left corner of the DIS screen?

The outside temp is displayed on the bottom left corner of mine.
Maybe on DIS, but non-Tech does not display temp unless you press one of the hvac buttons

My Base 2009 displays driver and passenger temp settings and the outside temp by default all the time. But I usually turn my screen display off. When I adjust temps up or down from the dash or steering wheel, the screen comes back on momentarily even when the display is off.

how do you change the temp from the sterring wheel? didn't see this as a setting.

My mistake, temp can only be changed from the dash control.
