  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

After driving it for 5 days I finally had a chance to wash it.
I bought mine the last day of my vacation and was working ever since :( so I didn't have time to joyride or detail.
I got home from work a bit early and got a wash in as the sun was going down.

Let me say, I did buy protection for my car. Leather, wheel, tires, paint (not sure what the paint covered).
I needed it because I went with the Cashmere interior and didn't want to take chances.
Well they gave me a bucket with cleaning materials; soap, wheel cleaner, window cleaner, leather cleaner, carpet cleaner, and extra clear coat.
They applied one bottle of clear coat when they were detailing it.

While I didn't wash the car for 5 days like I said but this was easily the.. easiest.. car wash I ever did.
Don't know if it's the extra clearcoat they put on but nothing stuck, not even the bugs on the front bumper/grille and I barely had to dry it, water just ran right off on the rinse. Hoping to wax her next week on a day off.

Enjoy! I don't think I've ever seen anybody have as much fun washing a car before. By the way, your car is the first Genesis I have seen with pinstriping.

Awwww that makes me so sad thinking of the salt/dirt mix on my car in the parking lot right now. Damn you winter!

Side note, the OEM mudflaps do not stop slush spray in the winter with General Altimax Artics on 17"s. I get tons of spray up the side and back still. ok....that sounds wrong I know ;)

I haven't seen any either :/

I didn't know it came with it, they had to go about 50 miles away to find the one I wanted. Then it came and I saw the Pinstripe and I actually like it a lot!

I'd kill for a warm carwash bucket right now. Wisconsin road trip = saddirtyblackcar.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359152821.677617.webp
