  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

For anyone who may be interested, here's everything you need to know:

Has anyone installed this?
Many have. Of course, it only works if your Genesis already has an electronically controlled suspension. Try doing a search to see if anyone is talking about the Mando unit...

I did search. Only one other thread that didn’t go anywhere. Haven’t seen any discussion in reference to the gv80.

Do you know if the installation is the same as the stinger?

Installation should be the same but I'm not absolutely certain. More often than not, discussions pop up when people are having issues with a product. This one has been problem/issue-free for Mando ECS-10 users, at least to my knowledge, so there isn't a whole lot of discussion going on...

I'm still tempted to try it. On the 22" wheels, the soft suspension mode is too bouncy, but the firm suspension mode is too firm.

On the winter 20" wheels I find the soft mode ridiculously bouncy, and then the firm mode is just about right.

Just noting, in case anyone is curious, that the Mando device is not only used to stiffen a suspension for better performance - but also used to further soften a suspension. Some of the Stinger owners have actually done this and really appreciate the device for that reason.

Just ordered one. Will post up feedback after. I feel this car is more of a luxury cruiser and rides a little too firm. It feels sturdy, but like it’s trying to pretend to be a sports SUV.

Just curious how it worked out for you, I'm thinking about doing the same thing.

Yes, they did.

I received the device, installation was straight forward and relatively easy (putting the side panel of the dash back was a bitch), but the Mando app on iPhone apparently isn’t working in its current version. It would connect to the device but that’s it, couldn’t access it. Currently going back and forth with kdm and Mando to get the a newer app version going so it would work. If they don’t fix it within next 2 weeks, will send it back.

Did you get it working. Thanks

It will only work with a car that has an electronically controlled suspension - which is made by Mando. If the vehicle doesn't already have this option, there's nothing for the Mando ECS-10 to connect to...

While in Middle East you get only one variant with GCC specs. How to make sure my car is equipped with ECS?
I do have comfort modes but nothing beyond that that talks about ECS.
