  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Pretty bummed, but just bought a new house on a dirt road that isn't gonna do the car any favors... I don't see a forum on here for "for sale" stuff. Is there not one or am I just missing it? :(

I don't know how bad your road is, but I think your car may hold up better than you realize. I've driven quite a few rutted dirt/gravel roads without rattles or other problems. I do more frequent air cleaner replacements.

If you financed then you could be uoside down. You may come out better keeping the R-spec and buying a cheap Pick-up truck to use on most days (less than 3000.00)

It's actually a pretty rough road, lot's of rocks & ruts, so I don't want to be driving it daily in such a nice rig. I realize I'm gonna be a bit upside down, but it's better to cut a check to sell it than to thrash it.

How long a road are you talking about? Why isn't the developer or township grading it?? If it is your road, spend a couple of hundred $$ and have it graded.

I grew up driving gravel country roads and at speeds in excess of 50 mph most of the time. Might have lost a little paint from the rocker panels and rear fenders, but that's all.

I think the board would like to know where you live and asking price along with other pertinent info.

I live in Southern California, in the Temecula area. It's platinum metallic in excellent condition, with about 17,500 mi. All service performed by Hyundai at prior to necessary intervals. I have no idea what I could/would sell it for, but owe about $39k on it. It was rebadged with the wings, but I removed the hood badge, and has the rear wing. I will post some pics once I get a chance. Pretty busy with moving at the moment...

Going price for your car should be about 35,000 +or - 1500.00.
