  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Think it’d really be cool if the Genesis G90 developed rear suicide doors like Lincoln is doing for their top of the line Continental. Whatcha think?

Good idea, then I'd not have to buy a Rolls Royce Dawn to get that feature.

Like I said I read where Lincoln seems to be planning one☺
Or’ ya could just turn the back seat around lol’

Would love to see a genesis with "swivel" bucket front seats...Don't knock it till you tied it  Had this option in a 1976 Monte Carlo that I purchased new in the day....Press down on a handle where seat controls are on the side of the seat. The bucket would turn 90 degree from the driving position to face the open door.Once seated the driver could then swivel the seat to return it/lock it to face the steering wheel. This could be a manual or motorized..either way....Loved that car!! ALMOST as much as my Genny;)

Swivel seats may be OK if you take a lot of short trips and are in and out a lot. I'm thinking something for the longer trips to reduce stops.

I had a 73 monte with swivel bucket seats. They were a nice option for sure.

Suicide doors while looking very cool make entry and exit difficult. Worked on a Lincoln convertible that had them and a few street rods. Ingress/Egress is a pain. But they look to cool. But for a G90 which is classified as a luxury vehicle to be purchased by the older generation, mostly, it really sucks. Now the Monte Carlo/Chevelle seats in the '70's were very cool. But after the initial new wore off my dad and mom never used the ones in their 73 454 Monte Carlo. At first I wondered why but then after using their car one weekend, I understood. I could be in or out of the car while fooling with the seat lever and swivel. Just my opinion.
