  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Thinking of Trading - Target Price / Payment?

I have a 2007 BMW 750i. I love the car, and it's been generally reliable for a 7 series. But the Equus styling kind of caught my eye - elegant and different without being obnoxiously "in your face." I'm more of a luxury car buyer than a sport sedan buyer, so I think I'm definitely in the target market.

When I pulled up in the 7, I was surprised how un-vulture-like the salesman was with us. He knew the product inside and out, then we drove it for about 30 minutes over every possible road condition.

In short, I love it. I'd want the Ultimate trim level. I noticed that there is a lease deal on them right now. I'm just curious what the target price / payment should be? Are they negotiating? This dealer has seven in stock, two are Ultimates. Strangely enough, the other dealer in town only has one - an Ultimate and says it's not planning on getting any more until it sells the one it has. Strange.

Also, if anyone has moved from a BMW 7 series to the Equus, I'd be curious to know your thoughts after having the car for a while.

Thanks!
