Those Obnoxious Pop-up Ads

Is anyone else getting those obnoxious video ads that pop-up in the lower left corner of the forum after you've been sitting on one page for a while?

Sometimes they offer an "X" to close them out. Some don't and I either have to turn my volume down, or quickly click on a new link to change the page.

Don't know if there's any way to get rid of them (I thought that by being a registered user, we were supposed to be "insulated" from the ads?)

It is a pain in the butt. Everytime I move to a new post it pops up again.

I don't get those, possibly a benefit of being a supporting member.

Registered members get less ads than guests. Supporting members get less ads than registered members. Unfortunately, the site needs to pay for itself. I cannot be expected to shell out the money for the community all by myself. For $2.00 a month, that ad disappears..

Thanks Sal. I didn't know about the extra level of ad avoidance that comes with being a supporting member. I'll see if the wife will give me $2 out of my allowance

The vidio ads don't bother me, but that darn audio ad for "Saint Lucia" sucks. I get rid of it each time they talk by hitting the ESC button.
