  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Tint questions

I understand your reasoning, but how it it looking out at night? That is my only concern. No tint it not bad here in New England but I'm moving south in the fall where tint would be nice to have.
Its still easy to see through at night time at 30% on factory. No large impact on vision for myself at least. You can always go for a higher percent tint on ceramic and get the same great heat reduction without going too dark. Plus if you want to darken the rear windows and the back window, you can always raise your sunshades!

Alot of the the tint % is preference. I think it's all gravy as long as you're grabbing a good film (ceramic>carbon>metalized (causes interference)>dyed).

I have 35% all around, except the windshield, and have not had any issues with visibility at night.

Just got my G90 tinted last week. The thing to be careful of is shading. Look at samples carefully. I found that the ceramic products have a bluish hue. Carbon doesn't. I choose SunTeck CXP45 which is a high performance carbon. Pic attached.

I had my windows tinted last month. I also live in the Atlanta area. 35% ceramic tint ran me about $400 to do all 4 doors and the rear window. I agree in GA you don't want to go darker unless you like being stopped by the police. All of my cars in GA are tinted. This was my first experience with ceramic tint. It does have offer a noticeable improvement in heat transfer into the vehicle versus what is used on my other cars. I commute two hours each day in this car so it was worth it for me.

I thought the Georgia law is 32 %?

ok so seriously go as dark as you want, honestly to me the look is worth a $125 a year in fines. its almost worth it not ever having to wear sun glasses or use the visors while inside the car. 20% all around and be done with it.
