  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I've been looking up how to remove the tail lights so they can be sprayed/applied with film but I can't find anything on it. While we're at it, is there one you prefer over the other? Thanks!

To remove the tail lights...look on the far left and far-right corner inside the trunk...there is a little cover that you must take off once you take that off there are three 10ml bolts inside. Take that off and you should be able to remove the outer tail lights. To remove the inner lights (reverse lights), you have to remove the paneling on the back side of the trunk lid to access the bolts.

As far as tinting goes, Ive always used vht nightshades in the past with great results. Mind you this was on cars that had cheap tail light replacement if you messed up... as ours are definitely not cheap to replace.

Anyone had any luck with film tint?
