  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I was bored, and decided to post what I posted on my 3 sites, I am posting it here cause I didn't know where to post this. It is however, strictly geared towards the first time car buyers, so most of you here may know more, but if you want to read it, click any one of the following.

All 3 sites are still pretty new so there aren't any activities, but you can read them just for the reference. I was kinda lazy to copy and paste those 2 posts there to here, so....

Enjoy.

Pretty good list there. I will admit my wife and I didn't do too many comparisons when we shopped for our last new car. I will be picker next time around since I want more of a luxury or near luxury car.

I like your tip on the baby/car seat. Do you think Hyundai will let me strap in my kids car seats (with sticky dried juice) on their nice leather seats?

I have to especially recommend that you plan very carefully to test drive all of the vehicles before deciding to buy.

The way my wife and I did that last time around is that we refused a test drive at our first visits to each dealership. We sat in each vehicle, and discussed features, and sat in the back, and so forth, but we didn't drive.

After we had checked everything out, then we went back and test drove the ones we liked.

Having other drivers test drive the car with you is a necessity for several reasons. Most importantly, all drivers must be able to see out of the vehicle and have a clear view of the instrument panel in order to drive safely. Make sure that the steering wheel and seats adjust to accommodate all drivers safely. :welcome:
