  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

They should, although 245 may be pushing it for an 8" rim.

You sure that's an 8" rim? It looks wide for the tire in that pic.
They should fit fine. Think you’re right may be confused and it’s 8.5”
Think this is the wheel read 8.5 on all options.

Note: Biggest tip don’t go cheap on the lug nuts get the Mcgard. Lots of cheap o options and horror stories of rusting and stripping of the lug with the odd keys that come with the cheap lugs.

I will say I have to wonder what that 2.0 feels like with anything more than 18” wonder if it’s sluggish?

I normally buy McGard. I buy direct from McGard not from online companies.

I’ve also purchased wheel locks from Gorilla. Worked just fine.

My G80 uses “Lug Bolts” like my Mercedes had, not Lug Nuts.
G80 came with McGard. I then ordered an extra key direct from McGard.

Per the above photo of the Black Wheels, do they function better than the stock wheels?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

They look better particular against a white car. I got one of the rare 3.3t STD that came with the silver rims that are on the 2.0 sport. But it’s all preference.

I think black wheels set the car off particularly in white. Got them for a steal guy had new tires with 1k on them. So in the end what I’ll do is just swap the others back before lease is up and have paid nearly nothing for rims bc I won’t have to replace tires.

Agreed Gorilla is good as well. But Amazon has these other lugs that if you read the reviews have awful stories. Only thing I’m getting use to is a 245 square setup from the staggered that was on before. But I read in some forums people burn through the 225 in the front and it’s a way to make you get tires. But I will admit Im no car guru like some are in this forum. Thanks Husky for the help.
