  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Tom Costello Does It Again!

Saw three others today in Athens GA. Also one saw one Equus

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I've seen 3 in the last 2 days in south metro Minneapolis, and 2 in the previous week. They're here, I know, and the dealers seem to have lots of new inventory. Hardly ever any used, it seems.

Got mine last october and have seen only a hand full. And that's with driving up and down the state from the bay area all the way down to San Diego.

But the other day, I saw another R Spec in titanium Gray parcked in dowtown here. DAMN! now there are two of us.

I agree. I own the 2012 R Spec Sedan, and there isn't a day goes by when someone doesn't stop next to me and NOD in the affirmative, or say "Nice Car". Good feeling. Owned the car for 1 week and a dude in a Chrysler 300 stopped while turning into the lot I was leaving, rolled down his window and said "Sweet Piece man". Then drove on. Mine is Black, and has eyes!!

1. They are a "Dime a Dozen" in Central Florida.

2. When in Western New York, I see very few. (Dealers tell me they only sell the V6.

3. When in Roswell, I don't see any. Spend a few weeks there every year, but none.

As for Central Florida, I'll tell you what I do see a lot of. 2011 Hyundai Sonata's. Tons of 2011 Sonata's. They are selling like "hot cakes" here. Will check out WNY and NM when I travel there within the next few months.

Bob
at least one here in Fairport.
KO

I live on a resort barrier island off the coast of Georgia. I bought the first Genesis at my club, but now we'll often have 4 black Genny's parked in a row: 2 of the 2010, a 2011, and recently a 2012. There is a silver 4.6, and a white 3.8 as well.

We seem to seek each other other to park near each other, but it seems lame to me to do it. But now we can't stop.

The BMW, Audi, and Mercedes contingent haven't ridiculed us.

Love the Equus commercial where the owner bypasses the valet parking and parks himself.

That type of reputation disgusts some people, but it suits me fine.

Here in the Orlando FL area there are 5 others that I know of and 2 Equus owners.

I live in Bowie, MD and just bought mine Saturday. It was on my short list of cars to check out after my Avalon was totaled...I had never seen one in person. Then when I was at the post office I saw a car in my rear view mirror in the lot with wings on the back and was drawn to it...got out and walked over to it. Saw that it was the Genesis. That really helped me make my mind up lol.

Yesterday I was driving near my house and had one right behind me...I was kind of hoping they were going to the same place as me so I could say hi but no such luck lol.

I don't see many in central Cal.. despite the fact that there three local Hyundai dealers. In the Sacramento area. Lots of SMUG in the area. Prius are like lice and there are DUMB (I can't call them Smart), cars all over. The social engineering crowd are ruining my state. The overlords say, "There will be no fun of any kind." These politicians make me sick! I am now officially looking for a R-spec you guys! Red or black '12 or '13 if anybody wants to sell one. ::D I aim to misbehave. I got a buck fifty on the bike last time out and I'm thinking I might need to test the limiter on an R-spec soon. The hot rod culture isn't dead , just suppressed.
