  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So only got to run it twice and ran a 13.4 @106. Not bad. The track was sticky and I should have got further up on the stall and launched harder but I will take it.

So how did you launch? Did you have the ESC disabled? What was your 60-foot time? Enquiring minds want to know!

My 60ft sucked. It was a 2.1. I didn't know the track conditions so I barely got up on the stall and it dead hooked and had just a slight bog to it. I raced a 330 BMW and he didn't have a chance. And to add to the Mustang Vs Genesis deal where some of these people are looking at paper and NOT REAL WORLD. It just happened to be Mustang night at the track. There were probably about 12 Mustangs. One 73 a couple of the 87-93 bodies then all new ones. My time beat 90 percent of them. Simply because most of them had no idea how to drag race! Doing a huge smokey burnout with street tires well is just plain stupid. Im happy with the time. I just had to know what it would run. I probably wont drag it again as I have a 604Hp 521CI low 11 second Ford Torino for that!

Anything faster than a 13.99 and you have to wear a helmet. It was funny to see people look at you inside with a helmet on then look at the dial in time of 13.2 on the window then the puzzled look on there face and start looking the car over. I loved that!

Im sorry you asked about the ESC. Yes I pulled the fuse. With the fuse in I think it would have sucked. The second time down the track I spun the tires. Raced a damn Subaru that must have been a Turbo that ran a 11.55 @ 122. It was FAST

Nice work. I'm anxious to see what time I can get with my baby Tau.

P.S. Just a heads up that Magnaflow is misspelled in your signature.

LOL your right!! When do you plan to run it. It was 95 deg when I raced it so I could have maybe got a little better time if it was cooler out

95 degrees? Very nice run for conditions. What was the D/A that day? If you tell us the track and day/time we could get the info on the internet. Just guestimate but with that icky of weather you'd be looking at a 12 second ET with better conditions.

Nice runs man, I took my rspec to the track about a month ago.. 100 degree weather with no track prep at all and ran a 14.0 @103mph.. it was hot n the track was horrible, spun most of the way. Going back in Oct, when it cools down to see what I can run.

Mid July in Palmer, Alaska. Low 70s temp. Bone stock 2014 5.0
13.29 @ 106.65
60ft 2.08
1/8 mile 8.67 @ 84.23

After a couple runs realized leaving the ESC on and holding the brake and rev to about 3k worked best.
